The Owen McVeigh Foundation are immensely proud that Mark and Joanne, Owen’s mum and dad, were recognised with a Point of Light award from the UK government which was presented to them by the Lord Mayor Malcolm Kennedy and the Lady Mayoress Liliana Herescu as well as the entire Liverpool football squad. This is a great recognition of all the extremely hard work Mark and Joanne have put in to make a difference to the lives of sick children and their families.
