A brilliant time was had by all at Lucy’s Bakeoff which was held at Croxteth Park Hall. It was a superb event which was supported by one of the biggest turnouts we’ve seen to date. Lucy and her family and friends worked amazingly hard at the event supported by her friends from The Owen McVeigh Foundation and all that hard work paid off in producing a simply brilliant day for all and one that raised a huge amount for some brilliant charities that Lucy supports.
Special Thanks go out to Rob Steele who was a brilliant compere for the day. Other special thanks go out to Connie Rhodes who sang some fabulous songs, Joanne Lee who also sange her socks off and the amazing and talented Jack Higgins who put on a brilliant dancing performance. There was a surprise guest appearance from one of Lucy’s personal faves Asa Murphy. Thanks also to every member and helper of The Owen McVeigh Foundation who worked tirelessly for 2 days to make the day special for Lucy and to Anne Culley, Joanne Sinnott Mick & Sarah Power and everyone from Croxteth Hall.
The winning cake was just amazing – the beautiful Gemma won and thoroughly deserved it !
In Lucy’s words – the day was “tremendous” – and we have to agree with her. The photos of this brilliant day are below:
