A big welcome to our first young person’s ambassador Fabian Morley
About Fabian
Fabian will be 7 years old in October. When he was 4 years old, he was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, an aggressive and fast-growing form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Fabian underwent a course of chemotherapy as part of his care plan and showed remarkable strength and resilience throughout. In August 2023 he proudly rang the bell as he reached the end of his treatment.
Fabian approached his treatment with remarkable courage, frequently going down to theatre dressed as a superhero, determined to take on the “baddies” and overcome every challenge that came his way.
Fabian lives at home with his mum, dad and little brother Gabriel.
As a result of visiting Anfield for the first time to watch Liverpool F.C. as a guest of the Owen McVeigh Foundation, Fabian became an avid supporter of the club and an aspiring young footballer. In his very first season, he achieved joint top goalscorer and was also awarded Manager’s Player of the Year. Fabian proudly wears the Owen McVeigh Foundation logo on his club jersey every weekend as a tribute to the charity that played such an important role in his journey.
Fabian is delighted to be an ambassador for the Owen McVeigh Foundation. He is incredibly grateful for the support, kindness, and special memories that the team has provided for him and his family. Fabian looks forward to giving back and helping others wherever he can, using his own experiences to bring encouragement and happiness to children and families facing similar challenges.
